DescriptionProbably the most interesting pp. are 57-61 (list of "paintings"); there are too many busts and pictures of the later Stuarts for the Bulkeleys to escape scatheless from the accusations pandied about in the reign of Queen Anne by Lloyd Bodvell and his party that they sympathised overmuch with the cause of the Pretender - the two Pretenders were in the 1822 list, and the Cardinal York, brother to the Young Pretender
