Hicks of Steeple Ashton to his brothers and sisters in Anglesey, and lands bequesthed to him by the Misses Brown of Steeple Ashton to his siter Margaret; references to land purchased in Bath and in Llanddona; several legacies and annuities to friends and servants. He was the son of Rhiwlas by Pentraeth, a family later associated with Caerau in Llanfairynghornwy. He had been Fellow of Queen's College, Oxford, and the author of several translations into English from Latin writers on farming and horticulture. Died in February, 1812 |
