TitleA careful analysis of the five contributory boroughs of Carnarvonshire
Descriptiontheir respective methods of sovernment (whether in right of charter or prescription), leading up to six searching questions relating to the validity of some transactions in Pwllheli and Nevin, by which they elected large numbers of burgesses "to serve a turn"; references to quarrels and serious disturbances arising from two pairs of bailiffs at Caernarvon - "the other 2 have broken the Hall Door". At the foot is 3 Sept., 1713, and the body of the document contains considered answers to the six questions referred to. The questions are in furtherance of the Bulkeley interest, but the M.P. returned on 18 Sept. [Thomas Wynn of Bodvean] cannot be said to be a Bulkeley partisan.

Accompanying this are two letters of October, 1711, which seem to refer to the bailiffs' dilemma at Caernarvon, and the part played in it by Lloyd Bodvel of Bodfan, the implacable enemy of the Bulkeleys
