TitleLetters to Sir Robert, 1802
DescriptionMany concerned with his re-election for Carnarvonshire, the talk of opposition, and its fading away. "No Bridge" seems to have been the slogan of Sir Robert's supporters, but it was expected that he would support the project of building a road from Portinllaen across Traeth Mawr, which was at the time enthusiastically mooted by the Madryn party, T.P. Jones [Parry] and Mr G.L. Wardle (see Pwllheli resolutions, 16 June, l902). Matters were liable to get somewhat stiff between him and Lord Bulkeley occasionally (letters of April 16,25).
