AdminHistoryWilliam Sproston Caine was sometime M.P. for Scarborough. He was the father of Lady Clwyd (Hannah Rushton Clwyd, 1869-1951), and his wife was the daughter of Hugh Stowell Brown, the well-known Baptist minister of Myrtle Street, Liverpool.
