DescriptionBethesda: Richard Hughes, Quarry View, Carneddi, reported that his wife and daughter were molested by a large crowd by the Market Hall after they had been shopping in the High Street. His daughter was kicked in the leg and stones thrown. Escorted home by constables. Those identified included the son of Thomas Enoch Williams, Cae Evan Gymro (who was the prominent assailant).

Robert Jones, Gordon Terrace, reported an attack on his maid servant as they returned to his house at about 8pm the previous evening. This morning at 7am further stones were thrown at his cow shed where his man and maid servants attended to milking.

Caellwyngrydd: Henry Jones, Hencaellwyngrydd, reported he and his wife have been continually molested ever since he had taken the house after John Evans, marker.
