DescriptionCarneddi: Mrs. Hughes, the wife of Richard Hughes, contractor, Carneddi, was badly shaken while out shopping that morning in Carneddi. She was hit by a stone and proceeded to the quarry to tell her husband of her bad experience.

Caellwyngrydd: Richard Roberts reported that it was much quieter in the area when the men return from the Quarry, mostly because of the larger Police presence.

Bryntirion: John Ellis reported that the Constable escorted men home from work.
