TitleDiary of William Thomas Bason
DescriptionBason's wife's health slowly deteriorates whilst the family's visits are still ongoing.
After discovering that the two local trains, one in, one out of Bala, were put off service, Bason presses on the Clerk to call a Special Council Meeting (2 Oct 1961).
Pleased after discovering that the council has agreed to construct the bungalows. Bason states, "The fight has been worthwhile" (27 Nov 1961).
Bason prepares to move to the Bungalow (May-June 1963).
We learn that the Railway is cancelling two more passenger trains even after Bason's efforts in campaigning for the future of these lines (15 June 1963).
