AdminHistoryIris Gwendolyne M. Loveridge was an English classical pianist. She was born in on April 10th, 1917 West Ham, London, and later attended the Royal College of Music and the Royal Academy of Music. Loveridge specialised in British Contemporary Music, including piano sonatas by Arnold Bax and Gordon Jacob. She was also a keen chamber musician, touring with the oboist Evelyn Rothwell (Lady Barbirolli). She died on November 6th, 2000.
