AdminHistoryThe St. Deiniol Golf Club was founded in 1906 under the name of Bangor Golf Club; this was altered to St. Deiniol Golf Club in 1915. Many changes have naturally occurred since the Club was formed and today the course bears little resemblance to the original, which was one of nine holes.
By 1908 the Committee felt the course should be extended to 18 holes and this work was completed under the guidance of James Braid.
The present Club House was built during 1913-1914 and finished just at the time of the outbreak of the first world war.
