Included is an index to contents at the back of the ledger along with various draft or copy letters and some scribbled personal names e.g. Rachel Cowley of Bride, Hugh Keating, 28 Truman Street, Liverpool, Elenor Nolan

To make plum cake
To make the Queens Cheese

Remedies include :
An infallible cure for a sore throat
A bad cure for a cough
For the bite of a mad dog
