DescriptionA diary detailing Whalley's time in Surrey and Llandudno. Also, contains a trip to Switzerland. Contains records and lists of different wildlife, weather and flora that Whalley has noticed over the time period. Contains photos of the landscape of Conwy and Bangor. It also contains feathers of a different birds i.e., a heron and hen phesant. Alogside this, there is a letter from the Queries Editor of 'The Field' magazine responding to a question sent in by Whalley. There are also some dried and pressed examples of flora within the diary, some stuck down and some loose. There is a loose page from November 1944 contained within this diary. We also find a graph which records bird song in the early morning. Contains an extract of some research about eels on a loose page.
