Description | by which William Wynne of Pengwern in Llanwnda conveyed to Sir Arthur Owen of Orielton of Pembrokeshire [and of Bodeon in Anglesey] Plas Llangadwaladr and other messuages in Llangadwaladr and Llanfeirian, lands which W.W.'s grandfather had secured by his marriage with Florence, daughter of Rowland Griffith of Llangadwaladr (Pedigrees, 240). A good deal of Flintshire atmosphere about the document on account of W.W. having married Ann, daughter of John Wynn of Leeswood; there is also some information about W.W.'s young brothers not vouchsafed in the Pedigrees - Thomas living the life of a gentleman at Caernarvon, Griffith an apothecary in the town of Denbigh. Last of all, William Prichard of Caernarvon was the attorney to whom W.W. entrusted his interests. |
