TitleLitigation over tithes at Aberffraw between the Rev. Hugh Owen, M.A., rector, and Richard Owen of Tyndryfol
Description(in the Great Sessions Exchequer Court). The case turned on whether poor hay intermixed with rushes was tithable, especially when the rushes had been carefully segregated for the purpose of thatching the aforesaid hay. The defendant pleaded that the custom of the country was against tithing it. Plaint and defence, with a bill of revivor, but the final outcome not stated.
