Description"Settlement of Dinam and E[i]rianell Estates. Mr. & Mrs. [John] Prichard to Jn. Roberts & R. Roberts Clk., 23 & 24 March 1775." Main importance of lease is a comprehensive analysis of the landed interests held by J.P. in that year, namely Dinam otherwise Llawr-y-dre, Mynydd ucha, Mynydd isa, Tyddyn y Llan, Brynllwyd, Penrorsedd, Penrhos and Rhyd Dinam in the parishes of Llangaffo and Newborough; also three parts out of four of the "township" of Dinam; also Eirianell Goch in the parish of Llafihangel Ysgeifiog and Llanddaniel, thus accounting for the acquisition of his father William Prichard of Caernarvon, his own regularised purchase of 1774, and the inheritance of his wife Elin as the daughter and sole heiress of Richard Williams of Eirianell. One of the clerks mentioned in the transaction was his close relative Robert Roberts, here described as "of Goppa in Merioneth," the later vicar of Llanrhaiadr (1786), and some years after that married to J.P.'s sister Margaret. The other was John Roberts vicar of Caernarvon from 1769 to 1776, and who seems also to have been the predecessor of R.R. as vicar of Llanrhaidr (1776-1786) there is no proof that he was related to the Goppa family.
