Description | He continues work on W.B. Scott, Twa Birgs of Ayr and Foundling Hospital, the latter two being sent to the Royal Academy on 9 April. In Paris, Crowe begins work on Parson Christening Children.
5 May, he sees the new Tower Bridge in London: "I didn't admire it as having any Esthetic beauty of line, & believe nothing can be made of mixed stone supports & iron suspension bridge mixed". |
