Disgrifiad | Lands and tenements bequeathed to his sister Mary and her lawful issue; in default, to his cousin Owen Roberts of Aberpwll in co. Caernarfon. Maurice Griffith of Caernarfon (Pedigrees, 220) and Robert ap William Roger of Llanddaniel, named as executors. References to two aunts, Ann Hughes and Elizabeth Price. On the dorse: "Sir Wm. Jones oppinion upon Rhosbothan Will", but the opinion has not been preserved, for the good reason (presumably) that the great Restoration lawyer had died in May, 1682, seventeen months before Price's will was made. The Rhosbothan table appears in Pedigrees 117, showing that Edward Price was usually known as Edward Preece, i.e. Edward ap Rees (or Rhys) Jones. Later papers will show how very interesting the Pedigrees are. |
