Description | HENB/15 is a summons to attend a Grant Jury at the Anglesey Great Sessions (5 September 1734); HENB/16 is dated 1734-1735 and also 1740-1742 (account of certain Warmingham's wages), addressed to William Bulkeley, but the script is much more like Bulkeley himself than that of Henry Morgan of Henblas. There is an obscure reference in this document to Mangle, the Irish silversmith, John Mangle, who had married the heiress of Llwydiarth by Llannerch-y-medd (Pedigrees, 103); HENB/17 is an account of cattle sold in 1755, and of barley and black oats bound in the same year. William Bulkeley and Henry Morgan were two first cousins, their father having married respectively two daughters of Capt. Henry Jones of Llangoed (Doulce and Lettice) |
