She was evidently quite fond of making visits to the Border, especially to the Oswestry district; this can be easily accounted for as Richard Poole her attorney had married (as second wife) the daughter of a William Griffith who had bought Cefn-y-braich by Llansilin from the representative of the olf Glan Alaw and Presaddfed families. Richard Poole, be it remembered, was a near relative of the Henblas family.
