Alt Ref NoHENB/32
TitleState of accounts up to 15 May, 1790, between Richard Poole, the Beaumaris attorney, and Miss Eliza Evans, daughter of Charles Evans of Trefeilir.
DescriptionAmounts received by Miss Evans from various legacies, disbursements, &c. She was evidently quite fond of making visits to the Border, especially to the Oswestry district; this can be easily accounted for as Richard Poole her attorney had married (as second wife) the daughter of a William Griffith who had bought Cefn-y-braich by Llansilin from the representative of the olf Glan Alaw and Presaddfed families. Richard Poole, be it remembered, was a near relative of the Henblas family. For the whole subject, see documebt HENB/294 in this collection (which is a draft note to Gwallter Mechain (March 3, 1820)), and collate Pedigrees, 18, 352.
