John Griffith, of course, was the eldest son of the testator of 1637 (doct. 87), while William ap Hugh Lewis figures in the will itself (as a debtor) and was one of the witnesses of Griffith ap John's signature. There is also a bond of obligation in £50 (to cover the £25), same date. |
