TeitlFurther mortgage upon Trefilir accompanied by a process of "recovery" at the Great Serssions of Anglesey - by David Owen to Owen Hughes.
DisgrifiadThis doct. makes it even clearer still that David Owen was son to John Owen and nephew of William Owen; it proves also, that Trefeilir at the time was tenanted by William Prichard, who had married W.O.'s widow, and that the agreement for the reversion of the dower lands (103-105) on 26 March was complementary to this mortgage of the 30th.
The point is established too that David Owen attained his full age of 21 about 1700. D.O., married the widow of one of the Evans family of Tre'rgo in Heneglwys (that accounts for two of that family appearing as parties to this transaction).
Another party is Hugh Lewis of Bont Newydd in Caerns. - he would not know in 1703 that his grand-dr. Elizabeth was to marry about 1760 Charles Evans, son of the new owner of Trefeilir.
