TitleBundle of receipts signed by David Owen, late of Trefeilir - received a £20 annuity or rent-charge payable quarterly from William Evans the purchaser of 1728 (according to the terms of the deed of 28 Nov., 1727)
DescriptionThe receipts date from 1728 to 1734; in May, 1734, David Owen died (see dorse of HENB/114); the original deed was the delivered by his son to W.E. (does this mean that Catherine his wife was also dead?). In Pedigrees, 1, we are told that his son became a tide-waiter in Newborough, and was living in 1766. Though in 1734 a mere annuitant, the father D.O. attended the Grand Jury at the Beaumaris Sessions just a few weeks before his death (Henblas A, 18, April 19).
