Disgrifiad | Richard Evans, M.A., was undoubtedly one of the sons of Elernion (Pedigrees, 175) and rector of Llanalhaiarn, and brother to Sibl (or Sibyl), great-great grandmother of William Evans of Llethrddu; that, and not the fact that the above lands came within the geographical proximity of the Bont Newydd estate of the Lewises (156-245), must account for this document being at Henblas. It is not without interest that one of the witnesses was Robert ap Griffith ap William, husband of the Sibl aforesaid. |
