Refers to Ifor Williams's work on Aneirin. Congratulates Ifor Williams on the Cymmrodorion Medal and on his election as Fellow of the British Academy. Hopes that Gwenno has made the right choice [of husband] David [Bell] wishes to do a portrait of IW and to translate the work of Dafydd ap Gwilym to English. Several references to the war.
