He is continuing to give English readers in verse some idea of Welsh cywyddau and is translating Iolo Goch's "Marwnad Dafydd ap Gwilym". Discusses his other work.
Has had a letter form Kenneth Jackson who will shortly be taking up work for the government and will have to drop Celtic work for the duration of the war. Jackson has asked him to use his influence to do something about the modern spoken dialects.
Part of the BM has suffered fire damage.
