Description | Takes the opportunity to write to ask a favour on behalf of the Caernarfonshire Historical Society. The death of Harold Hughes raised the problem of the editorship of the Arch. Camb. Sir John Lloyd suggested that Ellis Davies should be invited as sole editor but that a small panel of experts should act as advisers. The panel would consist of Sir John Lloyd, Prof. Wm. Rees, Sir Cyril Fox, Prof. Ifor Williams and Mr W.J. Hemp. The arrangement is a temporary one. He writes to ask if he will serve on the panel. |
