The Place-Name Society seems to be delaying any attempt on the place-names of Cornwall. A large number of field-names are still remembered by the older people together with their original translations.
His book is planned out and is now ready to start writing.
Although he is liable for immediate foreign service as a machine gunner, he is not gloomy as it is certain that Hitler will be checked even if a generation is wiped out to do it.
