| Description | Attested copy of the Will of John Hughes of Disserth, co. Flint. His wife Catherine Hughes to have his messuage and tenement called Y Vanachlog in the parish of Northop for her life in part of her jointure, and also to enjoy for 10 years after his death the rents and profits of his lands in Llewerllyd, Trecastle, Rhyd, Meliden, Ruthland, Combe, Northop and Flint for the purpose of paying his ebts and funeral expenses etc. After the end of the said term of ten years she is to have an yearly rent charge of £10 for life payable out of his lands in Disserth. Catherine also to have his lands in Northop and Flint in further augumentation of her jointure. After her death his lands, in default of issue, are to go to his brother Henry Hughes with remainder successively to his sister Catherine Dryhurst, wife of Hugh Dryhurst, to his niece Mary Dryhurst, eldest daughter of the said Catherine; to Elizabeth Hughes, and to his sister Emma Hughes. |
