DescriptionIllustrative of the method of procedure: notice from the company (November 1850) regarding the exact parcels of land required of the Lord Boston for the undertaking in the parish of Llanfairisgaer (nature, lie, extent); correspondence from Lord Boston's legal advisers in London (LLIG/301-303), and an important letter from Mr Haslam, His Lordship's surveyor (19 April, 1853) dilating upon poor fencing - off at Bush farm, the diversion of water from tenants by severances, and the serious landslides at Pant Dyrus, winding up with a general claim of £842.5.0 upon Railway company (LLIG/304). The remaining papers have to do with land wanted for extension at Port Dinorwic in 1871 (LLIG/305-310), and with a question of encroachment on the foreshore by the Moel-y-don ferry (LLIG/311-313)
