Title	Group of papers which relate to the affairs of the Cambrian Archaeological Association when Mr Jones Pierce, one of J.E. Lloyd's younger colleagues at the U.C.N.W., had become a General Secretery. (Sir John being Chairman of Council)
Description	Much correspondence with the Treasurer; delicate negotiations over the editorship of the Arch. Camb. after the deaths of Chancellor Fisher and especially of Mr Harold Hughes early in 1940. Entered with enthusiasm into the centenary meetings at Aberystwyth in 1946, wrote the Introduction to the centenary volume, and delivered more than one address - he evidently appreciated very much the paper prepared by Mr E.D. Jones of the National Library on Llangeitho, as it is carefully preserved in the bundle.
