| Description | Also includes three documents - appointment and mortgage of the same premises by Thomas Gray of Cichle, who had intermarried with Margaret Ann Lewis Walker, widow, to John Thomas of Caernarvon, mariner (27 February 1827); the assignment of this mortgage (28 May 1829) by John Thomas to John Millington of Caernarvon; the a further assignment by Thomas Gray mortgagee to Griffith Davies of Kyftan (or Cyffdy) co. Denbigh and E. G. Powell of Caernarvon (1 & 2 February 1838); later, 21 February 1855, a reconveyance to uses to the Rev. W. L. Walker (a son of Anthony Walker and Margaret Ann Lewis Walker) by E.G. Powell with the consent of the executors of the deceased G. Davies. Finally, on 22 February 1855 a release by the Rev. William Lewis Walker, late of Aber but now of Trefriw, to Gertrude, Lady Dinorben, of Tyfadog, parish of Llandyfrydog, twenty-nine and one-half acres, once part of Derry Fawr, for a consideration of £1,500. Also, five papers relating to the marriages of W.L.Walker's mother, to birth and burial certificates, and to declarations of identity. (February 1855) |
