Disgrifiad | Desires to be buried in "my usual sitting place" in the parish church of Llanfair. Bequeaths 5 shillings and 12 pence towards the repair of Bangor Cathedral; a close in Llanendwyn called Cae Griffith David ap Humphrey to the Churchwardens of Llanenddwyn to the use of the poor of the parish; his messuages and tenements in Llanfair called Tyddyn y felin, Cae'r Crydd, Y Cae Coch and y Lloyn hir to his nephew Samuel Poole, son of his brother Richard Poole, and in default of issue to him, to his nephew Samuel Poole, son of his nephew Anthony Poole, and to Richard Poole, eldest son of his nephew Anthony Poole. Desires however, that Y lloyn hir shall be subject to a rent charge of 20s a year for the use of the poor in Llanfair. Further bequeaths his lands called Drws yr ymlid in Llanfair to his nephew Evan Poole and after his death to his nephew Samuel Poole, son of Richard Poole, subject to a rent charge of 20s a quarter payable to Richard ap Humphrey and Jane his wife; Garth y Ceiliog in Llanaber to his nephew Samuel Poole, son of Anthony Poole, subject to a rent of 20s. a year for the use of the poor of Llanaber; and Tir merched David ap Humphrey to his nephew Anthony Poole; other bequests include £50 to his niece Mary Thomas, £30 to his nephew Anthony Poole etc. Names as executors, Richard Anwyl of Park and Maurice Wynn of Llandanwg. |
