DisgrifiadDesires to be buried in the church or churchyard of Dolgelley. Bequests include - 40s. to the poor of Dolgelley, 40s. to the poor of Maentwrog and 40s. to the poor of Llandecwyn; various small sums to his sisters Catherine and Dorothy, his Nephew David Lloyd, Gwen merch John David Lloyd and her sister Elin, his cousin Humphrey Jones.
Charges his tenements of Penrhyn and Rhuddallt and Werglodd Gron in Llanaber with an annuity of £100 payable to his cousin Anne Jones. Bequeaths Penrhyn to the parson or Rector and Churchwardens of Dolgelley in trust to provide for the maintanance "an able and godly" schoolmaster to teach twelve poor orphan boys until they are 16 years of age - preference to be given to children of his next of kin. Bequeaths his tenement of Rhuddallt to the Rector & Churchwardens aforesaid and to six honest persons from Llanaber, Maentwrog, Ffestiniog, Llandecwyn and Llanfihangel-y-traethau, for the like purpose; appoints as his executors, his nephew, Humphrey Lloyd of Moelygeifr, Llandecwyn, his brother-in-law Robert Owen of Llanfrothen, Robert Wynn of Glyn, Esq. Morgan Price of Gerddi Bluog, gent. and his nephew William Bevan of Gwylan, where he was born.
