Description1. John Gruffith of Penrhyn, co. Caernarvon, gent., tenant for life of one moiety of the manor 'place' and all other lands belonging to Trefgarneth, co. Anglesey; and Roger Davyez of Glothaith, co. Caernarvon, chaplain, freeholder to the king of the same manor place of Trefgarneth.

Lease for 40 years of the manor place called Trefgarneth and lands appurtenant thereto in the town of Trefgarneth 'in as large and ample manner as the said John Gruffith and Roger Davyez the premises have by fine levied...in the Great Sessions of Anglesey holden the Monday videlicet the xviijth day of October in the xxxviijth year of the reign of King Henry the eighth by the name and quantity of six houses, three hundred acres of land, fourscore acres of meadow, hundred acres of pasture, ten acres of wood, hundred acres of moor and turbary...in Trefgarneth...of the gift or done of Thomas Moston, esquire and Jane his wife...'.

Annual rent: for the first twenty years, one peppercorn; and afterwards,£5.
