TitleCopy grant of an annuity of £40
Description1. Griffith Gwyn, alias Wynn, of Llanrwst, co. Denbigh, esq., and Henry Jones, Doctor of Law, executors of the Will of John Gwyn, Doctor of Law, deceased.
2. Richard Rowland, D.D., master of St. John's College, Cambridge, and the Fellows and scholars of the said College.

Copy grant of an annuity of £40 issuing out of lands in Maynan, co. Caernarvon, towards the maintenance of two Fellows in St John's College from the parish of Llanvair and Llanrhayader, co. Denbigh, or in default from Nant Conway and Maynan, or elsewhere in cos. Denbigh, or in default from Nant Conway and Maynan, or elsewhere in cos. Caernarvon, Denbigh and Merioneth, and three scholars form the school of Bangor who are also natives of Llanvair and Llanrhayader, etc.
Recites that although according to the terms of the said John Gwyn's Will, ddated 1 June 1574, the annuity was intended to support three Fellows and six scholars, it has now been found insufficient for more than two Fellows and three scholars.
