Deed to lead the uses of a fine, being also a settlement after the marriage of 1. with Dame Penelope his now wife, of 400 messuages, 200 tofts, 7 mills, 2 pigeon-houses, 500 gardens, 7,000 acres of land, 6,000 acres of meadow, 6,000 acresof pasture, 500 acres of wood, 3,000 acres of heath and bruery, and 200 acres of moor, with £10 in rents, 3 piscaries and 3 weirs, being the capital messuage, demesne lands, etc of Vaynol, and estates in Bangor, Maynol Bangor, Caerwedog, Treborth, Tregwyrrhyddion, Pentir, Dinorwick alias Dinorweg, Llanrug, Rug, Llavair isgaer, Bottandreg, Castellmay, Carnarvon, Llanbeblick, Rhuddallt, Treflan, Bettus Garmon, Dolbadarne, Llanberis, Llanddeiniolen, Llanllyfni, and Tre'r Saint, all in co. Caernarvon; the said Lord Bulkeley and Thomas Bulkeley covenant to stand seised of all the premises as follows: the said capital messuage and demesne lands, called Vaynol, in the parishes of Bangor, Pentir and Llanddeiniolen; messuages etc called Tythyn'r wylfa, Tythyn rhos, Llys y Gwynt, Tythyn forgan, Ty mawr, Glan rhyd, Tythyn'r hen vachell, Vachell, Tythyn y Llan, Pen y Dinas, Pen y bryn, Parke bach Werne gau issaf, Bach yr iffri, Ynys llecherin, Tythin Bady, Carfan, Erw goch, Kae llell, Tythyn y Castell, Kae mynydd, Maes Einion, Kae Leb, Tythyn y gorse, Rhiwen, Wern gau ucha, Ynysoede, Prys dyrys,Trerie fawr, Tythyn y kefn, Tythyn'r Hendre, Kaeie gleision, Coed Bolyn and Stinkinge Poole, all iin the parish of Llanddeiniolen; various closes and 3 other messuages in the same; a parcel of land called Dryll Llewelin in the same; a parcel of meadow called Ynys fadog in the same; 2 water corn mills called Melin Pentir and the New Milne and a parcel of meadow called gweirglodd y Llyn in the parishes of Pentir and Llanddeiniolen; and all the said Sir Griffith Williams's lands, messuages, etc, in the parishes of Pentir and Bangor (except a parcel of meadow called kae'r Sherrie and "one yard land" in Tyllvayne Canol in the township of Tregwyrrhyddion in the parish of Bangor). |
