| Description | Exemplification of a grant of a Crown lease to Hugh Gwyn Griffith, gent. of the township of Bodescallen and Vairdreff in the commote of Crythyn, co. Caernarvon, previously granted to William Mosten fro 20 yeaers by Letters Patent of 14 July, 3 & 4 Philip and Mary (1557), and afterwards to one Thomas Leighton for 40 years by L.P. of 14 July 10 Elizabeth (1568), to be held by the said H.G.G. from the date of surrender or determination of the aforesaid term of 40 years for a term of 31 years.
