Settlement made before the marriage of 1. and 2.

(i) 1. covenants with 3. that he will at the next Great Sessions of co. Denbigh, levy a fine to 3. of two messuages and tenements in Llanrhaiader in Kynmerch, co. Denbigh, called Y tythin ucha and Tythin issa and closes belonging thereto in Llanrhaiader and Tre yr Llan called y kae wrth ben y ty, Plas dirios, y ddwy acer, y kay glas, y tir Cam, yr acer las, y vach vechan, yr acer dan yr Odyn, tir y cablyd, y ddwy vron, kaie dan y graige, y berllan, y Coed kae issa, y kae rhwng y ty ar avon, and y ddau gae uwch ben y ty, all which lands were purchased by 1. from Sir Thomas Middleton of Chirk Castle;
a messuage or mansion house and two parcels of land and another messuage or tenement and two parcels of land adjoining thereto called y ddwy acr and the acr, and other parcels called Dol yr argey and Cay Calch, all in the township of Llann in the parish of Llanrhayader; a tenement and lands called Bryn Havod y meath in Crigiog vch land in the parish of Llanarmon, co. Denbigh, purchased by 1. from Sir Evan Lloyd; a great parcel of land called ffryth llydyart y byarthey in Trevy bychaine in the parish of Llandegla, co. Denbigh; a messuage or tenement in the possession of 1. called Carreg y Pennill, and 9 parcels of land belonging thereto called y Bryn, Gardd y Cra, y dolidd bychain ar lan yr avon, nant Carreg y Pennill, kay yr Dentir, yr acker galed, y kay glase vwrth yr yskybor, Brwn mwn ddv and y roft with yr skybor, all in Trerllan in the parish of Llanrhayder in Kinmerch;
four parcels of land in Trerllan called Koed y fach yssa, kay'rnant, Pelley ir dwr mawr and Pelley indwr [sic] bychain;
three parcels of land in Trellan called y fron, y kay nessa ir foord and y kae glase;
a large close called ffryth fawr in the township of Boddidrist in the parish of Llanarmon cos. Denbigh and Flint;
a close in the township of Trerllan called Kay Mawr;
and a close called Gweirglodd Maes y llan in Trevechan, co. Denbigh, to the use of 1. for his life, and afterwards to the use of 2. for her life, and afterwards to such uses as 1. shall limit and appoint.

(ii) 1. covenants with 3. that he will make a conveyance of the premises to them at any time within the next ten years to the uses mentioned, etc., etc.
