| Description | a) Scrap book / journal of Caroline Paget whilst visiting France in January-March 1930. Includes pages of photograph mostly of places visited and sites seen. Some First World War photographs of the trenches and destroyed buildings and streets.
b) Note book containing hand written poetry by Caroline Paget (also many loose insertions of draft poety), 1934-1941
c) Envelope of “answered” letters of sympathy from various correspondents to Caroline Paget on the death of her mother, November 1946
d) Folder of tributes and newspaper cuttings relating to Marjorie Anglesey following her death in 1946. Includes a funeral leaflet (Llanedwen Church, 6 November 1946) and a memorial leaflet (St. Peter's Church, Eaton Square, 14 November 1946). Also includes an inventory of jewels, pictures and furniture etc. and the names of those who were to receive the items as bequests in her will.
e) Telegram from Queen Elizabeth to Sir Michael Duff, Vaynol. She ç grateful for kind letter in this time of anxiety, 26 September 1951 [probably a reference to King George VI’th operation to have left lung removed on 23 September 1951]
