Foundation Stone Laying at Bethesda, Mr.Rathbone pioneer of the movement. Mr.Rathbone and Mr.Tate subscribed £1000 towards the school and Mr.Rathbone paid the architect's fee's himself. Lord Penrhyn has testified to the interest by giving the school the best site in the neighbourhood free of charge and providing the cost of the heating. The Quarrymen subscribed £740.
