AdminHistoryHugh Hughes the elder one of the witnesses, Sir Nicholas was the first of the Bagenalls (or Bagnells) to be connected with North Wales families; he married Elin, one of the co-heiresses of Edward Griffith of Penrhyn (Pedigrees, 57). Mr. J.E. Griffith says he died in 1575; this document distinctly proves he was alive in 1583
