Bargain and sale of properties specified in no. 95 . Recites that the lands were late in possession of Arthur Griffith of Holyhead, who by his will dated 24 August, 1698, bequeathed a rent charge of 20/- to the use of the poor of Holyhead out of the messuage called Pen y Kefn. Also recites how the lands are descended to Robert Williams of Rhosneigr and the said William Jones sa heirs of Arthur and Maurice Griffith's (R.W. being eldest son and heir of William Roberts of Rhosneigr who was eldest son and heir of Robert Williams and Morfudd Roberts, father of Arthur and Maurice Griffith; W.J. being eldest son and heir of John Williams of Bodwigan who was eldest son and heir of William Rowland of Bodwigan and of Ellin Roberts the second sister of Griffith Roberts). Refers to mortgage of Tyddyn Starkey, Cors Starkey, Ty'r Ysgolhaig, Hafod y Brain and Penycefn, etc. by William Jones to Edward Owen of Bodafon, to the refusal of said E.O. to discharge the premises, and to the agreement made between W.J. and Margaret Wynne whereby the latter should keep in her hand £80, part of the mortgage money until E.O. discharged the premises.
