TitleLetter from Humphrey Humphreys to his sister-in-law, Margaret Wynn
DescriptionHas received her letter with the acceptable news of the children's health. 'Jackey Wynn' does very well; he keeps at home or goes abroad with the writer only and writed very constantly to his Uncle Robert Wynne. He is steward of the clergymen's son's feast. Here my Lord Litchfield put him, it will cost money but it is creditable to him and his friends and is something instinctive. Our good Archbishop of Canterbury is dead; it is a great blow to the Church and a particular loss to the writer. It is not yet known who is to succeed. The Bishop of London, Worcester Ely --- and Litchfield are talked of and one Dr. Burnet of the Charter House. The King had some fits of an ague, but missed his fit yesterday.

P.S. Knows that she remembers the writer this day. He begins his 47th year.
