Has bought the things which his son desired and presents his account which it would please him to have settled as speedily as possible for son Richard 'who was never born to help us', has lately taken his portion and gone, it seems, to Ireland, leaving a debt of £60 behind him and having spent all his wages and more besides during the time he was at Fernhill Forge. The writer is advised to make his will; outlines the settlement he has in mind.
