TitleLetter from Elizabeth Lloyd at Ruthin to Dr. Edward Wynn, Chancellor of Hereford
DescriptionThinks it convenient to inform Wynn what success David Ellis has had at Wrexham fair. He first brought the cattle to this fair (Ruthin) and he was offered but £12 for the best pair of oxen and nothingbid for the rest; so he went off with them to Wrexham where he sold them at a good rate. Wynn's bay horse he has not disposed of though he has brought him to Corwen, Ruthin and Wrexham; there is a fair at Caerwys on Saturday, where he will bring him in hopes some kind of fate will take him off his hands. Has no news to impart except that of Richard Lloyd's being married to Mrs. Anne Ffoulkes. The sessions begin this day, which is thought will be but a small one; here comes but one Judge.
Aunt Mostyn desires to know is Mrs. Wynn breeding or no.
