TitleLetter from Margaret Morris at Beaumaris to Margaret Owen at Penrhos
DescriptionOffering to lend Mrs. Owen £800 to save her further trouble+. Refers to a forthcoming meeting at Beaumaris concerning the 'embankment' (Malltraeth), and is of the opinion that it will come to nothing. Mr. (Thomas) Williams of Llanidan is believed to have purchased Borth and "if he is for the embankment, that is, if he heads the county he'll get it done rite or wrong if anyone can; it is said he is to be made a Baron soon".
