Disgrifiad | Since his last letter to Owen, the Lord Bishop of Fearns, at the request of some of the writer's friends has been pleased to dignify the writer with a prebend which was formerly worth £40 per annum, so that this addition will make a handsome competence. If the Bishop of Bangor was pleased to condescend to Owen's request he may return him both his and the writer's real thanks; yet by no means let Owen accept of Rhoscolyn, for then both his Lordship and the writer in regard of profit, would be at a loss. If Owen writes to Ruyton let him present the writer's duty to his mother, whom, God willing, he proposes to see this summer |
