Description | Desires his brother to send him the Dunciad and a small book of Epigrams lately come out by M[aurice] Lewis when he comes down. His brother must not mind what Mrs Lloyd tells in relation to the writer; 'she is upon ye pump with you as she was with me'. Is about going to South Wales this next month by sea if he can get a freight for the ship. Lady Bulkeley told him that she had seen his brother lately when the writer was shown some of Miss Bulkeley's drawings. Would have sent him a copy of a lampoon made upon a young lady but that he had mislaid it; it is thought to be written by that great miracle of wit, the Reverend I.T.D., Ll.D., F.R.S., as he styles himself. 'There is preparing an examination into the Stowtonian system with remarks upon ye absurdity of his Syntax, Prosody and Obscenity"; will send it to his brother when finished.
