TitleLetter from Thomas Roberts to William Owen at Penrhos
DescriptionReceived Owen's letter concerning the new Corporation, and would have answered it sooner had he not been something busy with the Scotch or rather Hoglande Epistle, and can but wonder that ye "gallant beast's head should endeavour to carry Mynydd y Twr upon the point of his horns to Bewmares, since it's offspring is but a poor mouse. I am afraid you'll have but a few priests candidates for Burgomr (more than ye present Bishop for Livings) since they are to undergo examination, so yt I desire to be excused from being one of yr four & Twentie, least I shd be turn'd out for want of capacity, but hope may pass current amongst the Bull Society"
