TitleLetter from Pierce Bean, Dublin to his uncle John Owen of Penrhos
DescriptionHas this day received a letter from his uncle William, whose admonitions and advice he hopes to follow, which is to serve God, to prefer the public prayers of the Church before the conceptions of any person and keep from bad company, and not to trust too much to his own countrymen; to follow his tutor's direction and keep from idleness. His uncle has promised to write to his uncle Thomas on his account. Mr Arch-deacon has given him liberty to study in the day time in a place appertaining to him (the Archdeacon). Until he can get a chamber to lie in, he might stay where he is, and is confident none can have more care of him than Mr. Jones and his wife.
